The Munari Montessori mobile features a plastic sphere and three, two-dimensional black and white geometric shapes made from felt.

The high-contrast black and white patterns appeal to newborn babies as their eyesight continues to develop in the first few weeks after birth.

Babies also love the reflected light shining off the sphere which attracts their attention and helps to build concentration.

The mobile is very lightweight enabling it to move gently when hung. This allows baby to focus and concentrate on the slowly moving parts as they gaze up at it. Place next to a mirror for added interest.

Usually this mobile is introduced at around 2 weeks old.

These items are individually handmade, so may vary slightly to the online image.
