Looking for an easy and fun way to help your child learn and grow? The Busy Brains Activity Packs 4–5 Year Activity Cards are designed to support learning through playful, everyday experiences.
 
Whether your child has just started school or is preparing to begin, these cards are a simple way to support their development at home alongside what they are learning in the classroom.

Created by an experienced Deputy Headteacher, each pack contains 31 double-sided A6 activity cards filled with engaging, purposeful ideas across a wide range of subjects, all linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Each pack includes colour photographs, icons showing how each activity links to the Early Years Foundation Stage, an egg timer symbol to show how long each activity takes to prepare, and even more activities per pack. Selected cards also include QR codes giving you access to extra online content and printable resources to use at home.

Updated in May 2026, this edition now also includes a more detailed milestone guide linked to each area of the Early Years Foundation Stage, updated activity ideas, and a clear information box on every card so you can quickly see exactly which skills each activity is supporting.

Inside, you’ll find a balance of activities designed to support key areas of development, from social skills and communication to creativity, early problem-solving and independence. The activities are designed to feel fun and natural, while gently building confidence and reinforcing learning through repetition and play.
